Gifting Knowledge For Democracy Preservation

An Innovative Appeal for Love of Country as Democracy is in Peril!

 

I, Juliette Adams, am the architect of the democracy initiative and a lover of the U.S. political system. You must have heard the news; the U.S. is now officially classified as a backsliding democratic nation. I am not surprised I was making pleas almost a decade ago, as highlighted at my International Monetary Fund (IMF) Toastmasters speech "In This Room Liberty and Security: A Marriage or Bitter Enemies?"

Now, there is greater urgency to bring awareness to this issue. In addition to embedding in professionals that freedom, the exilic essence of Democracy is everybody's business. An echo of "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." – John F. Kennedy. What is exciting is that your contribution is going to celebrate Democracy through J.F.Kennedy's words. I will do it by gifting knowledge through the Gifted & Magical 95 Percent series books (e, audio, and hard copy books) to young professionals with a reminder that they are also the vanguard of Democracy in society.

In a Flash giving style, I plan to travel intermitting over ten day in April to white and black and white communities and randomly distribute hundreds of gifts of  a 5 set Gifted & Magical 95 Percent books. This ain't no ordinary gesture, using the words of Kelontae Gavin ceiling shattering song "No Ordinary Worship." The Gifted & Magical series is a five-book civic education series. It uses a candid approach to holistically navigate the challenging partisan and racial landscape of U.S. politics in the 21st century.

Using Oprah Winfrey's perspective, I say Democracy is at a whisper point. For Oprah, whispers are always messages, and if you don't hear the messages, the message turns into a problem. And if you don't handle the problem, it turns into a crisis. And if you don't handle the crisis, it turns into a disaster.
