Christopher Roark better known as Roark to friends and family left this world suddenly and unexpectedly on March 11, 2026. His wife Jennifer was with him until the very end.

Christopher had battled liver disease for
years he was a fighter and managed by God's mercy to come through several life and death experiences with this disease.

We mourn the loss of Roark but the devastation his wife is going through losing her soul mate - friend - provider and companion we can't imagine unless we have lived through it.

Each relationship we have holds a special place in our hearts. Those hardest to overcome are our spouse - our children and our parents.

Roark was the guy in the neighborhood that was always available to help - especially the elderly and disabled. He took them to Doctor appointments - mowed their yards and along with Jennifer prepared meals. He helped all that asked - cutting firewood for them checking on them daily. Roark himself was disabled but he did everything to keep moving forward.

Jennifer and Roark were our Dad's caregivers for the last 2 years of his life. Jennifer had him on a schedule - no meals missed - shower daily - exercise and medication administered. Then they watched 50 year old westerns daily - what fun. Roark took him on short road trips - hair cuts - ice cream runs and to his parents grave. But as he got worse both stepped up and took care of him. He never felt lonely and knew he was loved and needed.

Jennifer is just getting by she is in denial and broken knowing she is alone. Roark provided the financial support for their household - Jennifer was his caregiver and all income ceased when he breathed his last
breath.

Jennifer was hospitalized at the time of this writing - her organs went into shock with the heaviness of the grief.

She has no desire to continue living she feels her whole life is over she can't see what tomorrow brings much less a future. She has health issues some existing and others as a result of Roark's death.

Jennifer's dog Cheeto died while she was hospitalized. Her Mom and sister went to the hospital to tell her – which resulted in a very traumatic experience. Cheeto was Jennifer and Roark's fur baby. She was given some comfort with his presence.

If you have the ability to donate and help her figure out what she's going to do it would be a blessing. It might
let her breathe and grieve for a moment before the reality of her life has to be handled.

If you are not able please pray for Jennifer and our family. Everyone grieves differently - loss takes on many faces. I know some people are blessed to not have all they have known - a place to live - food - money for
utilities - medication and essentials and have time to grieve without worrying about basic daily needs.

We know Abba is able and we trust Him. I know there are friends and family that may have been here and understand.

God bless each one who have been praying with and for us during this time. I pray a supernatural hedge of protection be around Jennifer as she navigates this season - peace and comfort that surpasses understanding
