As we all know, being a mom is hard; but being a single mom of two young children can be extra hard.  Then you add into the mix a medical situation that not only has you in the hospital for a week but THEN you have to have emergency surgery, essentially wiping out all of your sick time, vacation time and personal time.  So now, you’ve got no money coming in and you’re out of work for a yet undetermined amount of time.  The word UNCERTAINTY comes to mind.
 
This is the current situation of our friend and co-worker Gaby Pino, a single mom with a 9-year old son and a 5-year-old daughter.   We all know that just everyday living expenses can be challenging but try explaining this to your small children (with the holidays quickly creeping upon us).  The word that comes to mind now is SCARED.


Any donation you can offer is greatly appreciated and will help Gaby recuperate with less worries and more peace of mind to concentrate on her body and her family.  The words that comes to mind are GENEROUS and THANKFUL.
