Giving Elena the 1 year old The Gift Of Hearing

This fundraising focuses on paying costs for Cochlear Implant for a 1-year-old Elena in Beirut, Lebanon. We kindly seek your donations to help us restore her hearing ability so that she also gets to experience the beauty of being able to hear mommy and dad’s voices.

Her parents found that Elena didn’t respond to speech or other sounds. So at the age of 2 months, they made her the auditory brainstem response (ABR), and she didn’t pass in either ear. She was diagnosed with congenital deafness, bilateral.

To help Elena hear, she will need cochlear implants. The price of the implants (with the operation, doctor, and hospital fees) is in total is 22,000 dollars.

Her parents cannot afford the cochlear implants and the amount for this procedure.

The situation is tough, especially that Lebanon now also suffers a worst economic crisis, lost productivity, higher unemployment, and lower wages for everyone with the absence of organizations for such cases.

Doctors recommend implants for Elena before she turns 18 months.

With your help, Elena would hear mommy and dad's voices for the first time.
