Giving Maisy (David) the final journey he deserves

Hello, I am Reniece Mais-Cohen, daughter of David Mais. We are saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our Dad, David Mais suddenly passed on December 27th, 2023. My siblings and I (Durell, Kai and Remelle), along with his other family members (Niece: Katrina, Dionne, Brother: Sidney, Sisters: Beverly, Hortense, Mom: Loretta), cousins and friends are all devastated and miss him dearly. Our Dad was a beacon of light that shared warmth and laughter wherever he went. Our family has lost a King, a blessed and beautiful soul, who has gone on too soon. We are overwhelmed by the support shown so far and thank you all.

​We were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service and would like to be able to give our Dad the service he deserves to honor his memory whilst saying our last goodbyes. We are currently asking for donations to assist in covering the cost of his funeral. This funeral donation page was put together to facilitate everyone that expressed their desire to contribute to our Dad’s burial. We thank you in advance as a family.
