GIVING CHRISTY A HAND UP

She's always been cowgirl tough, rarely will you see her shed a tear, but her soft heart has lead her to step to the plate time and time again to help others without it being known. Rarely will she mention her personal challenges.

Recently she was diagnosed with cancer in the lower intestinal tract . Trips recently have been made Reno for diagnosis and testing; while a treatment plan at this time is being discussed that will lead to surgery once the tumor has shrunk in size, along with an aggressive holistic plan to help facilitate healing. We are hopeful Christy will be ready for surgery between 4 to 6 months from now. Her attitude is optimistic, however physically at this time she has lost 40 plus pounds, partially due to her inability to eat much and digest.

This campaign to help pay the expenses associated with the proposed treatment plan, and payments will be dispersed by the campaign organizers. Any normally expendable income is now necessary to keep up with daily living costs. Donations to this campaign will be used for medical travel expenses, copayments, deductible expenses and supplements and medication needed and will be dispersed to help pay the associated bills.
