Running For Safe Classrooms In Haiti

I grew up on Haiti’s lively streets, learning resilience from neighbors who never stopped believing in a brighter future. Today that hope is threatened by rising violence that too often finds its way to school gates. I’m partnering with Teach Haiti to build protective walls around their campuses: simple, sturdy barriers that let children focus on learning instead of danger.

On August 31 I’ll run 26.2 miles, one mile for every year Teach Haiti has empowered students with quality education. My goal is to raise the funds needed to finish those walls, supply classrooms, and make sure every child who steps inside feels safe enough to dream big.

If you can give, you’re helping pour concrete, stack blocks, and open doors to a secure education. If you can share, you’re amplifying a story of hometown love and collective action. Thank you for running this race with me. Let’s turn marathon miles into safe, hopeful tomorrows for Haiti’s kids.

A donation of $100 or more will ensure that we dedicate one block with your name on it.

A donation of $500 or more will ensure that we dedicate a pillar with your name on it.

This isn’t just running. This is allowing children to continue to dream for a brighter tomorrow.
