Scott Corderoy, the man often referred to as 'Legend', has sadly lost his long battle to a rare form of cancer.

Scott was strong, courageous, dignified and damn right stubborn throughout his illness, and ultimately went out on his own terms, in his own home, surrounded by his nearest and dearest.

He was not only my best mate, and one of a kind, he was an incredible husband, the most inspiring and loving Dad, a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to so many.

Scotty wouldn't want you to be sad, he'd want you to be filled with love, as he was throughout his life, and particularly towards the end.

When I helped Jodie wheel him back into his home, having been living it up and boozing at the hospice for a few weeks, I've never seen the dear old bloke happier, it was some moment

Now the time has come to send him off in a manner fit for a king. He was our king, but more importantly he was Jodie and the children's king.

Please dig deep, give what you can, ive set a big target but honestly, anything will be a huge help towards taking some weight off of Jodies shoulders and giving Scotty a great send off that he so richly deserves.

Jodie and the children will be the beneficiary of this amazing fundraiser in order to cover the costs of Scott's funeral, and anything that the family find themselves needing in the coming weeks and months.
