Giving back to the women who’s given so much : help my mom heal

My mom is one of the strongest, most selfless people I know, and she’s never been one to ask for help. But right now, she needs it more than ever. Recently, she underwent a life-saving surgery to remove a carotid body tumor that had encased the carotid artery While the surgery was a success, the road to recovery has been anything but easy.

The expenses have quickly spiraled out of control—from medical bills to follow-up treatments, a very long recovery, and everything in between. As much as she hates asking for support, the burden is becoming too much for our family to bear alone.
