Hi my name is Holly, my partner and I are raising money for the James Cook Neonatal Unit to say thank you for the incredible care, dedication, and compassion they showed our family during the most frightening time of our lives. Our twin boys, Tommy and Joey, were born extremely premature at just 25 weeks, and without the expertise and tireless work of the neonatal team, they simply would not be here today.

From the moment they arrived, the doctors, nurses, and support staff went above and beyond — not only fighting to save our boys’ lives, but also supporting us as parents every step of the way. Their kindness, reassurance, and unwavering commitment meant more to us than words can ever fully express.

To give something back to this amazing unit, my partner is taking on the challenge of running the Newcastle Marathon to raise funds for the James Cook Neonatal Unit. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support the vital, life-saving work they do for premature and critically ill babies and their families.
