Thank you to anyone who chooses to read this! This fundraiser is to assist an Amish family with an exorbitant and mounting medical bill at UK Hospital and whose community coordinated the building of a dream barn I could never have afforded otherwise during my own health and economic crises. Not only given my circumstances did they bid at tens of thousands less than local contractors, they came in under. And, they built it in oak to last a lifetime. It has survived many hurricane-force winds and floods when neighboring farms lost theirs. And then they rebuilt those at cost as well!

It’s time for me to give back to the community of Amish who were so good to me in my time of need. My goal is to raise $20,000 for Miriam’s medical expenses at UK hospital. All donations will be funneled directly to the bank manager Jennifer Young at People’s Bank of Kentucky who is coordinating the healthcare fund for Miriam. Her information is listed if you would like to bypass my fund raiser and send a check directly.

On Facebook Marketplace, I am also raising money with a tack auction of donated items with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the medical fund for Miriam.

As you may understand, the Amish do not participate in photographs, but you can see the quality of work they provided for me in this beautiful barn. Their generous spirit deserves a return in kind.
