Giving back to Shawna

This fund raiser is for Shawna Karrasch to be able to get herself moved and her business reestablished over the next several months. It is being created as a way to give back to Shawna since she has been selflessly giving to us all and our animals for the last few decades. Thank you all SO MUCH for your love and support.

It’s with deepest respect for our friend Shawna that I want to ask for your help regarding her current situation where she has been forced out quickly to a new situation. There are massive expenses in a move this big as you all know… especially when it involves moving a horse as well. It’s going to take her some time to get settled into a new situation and in a position to begin to make her business grow again. 

For those of you who might not know, I am Henley’s breeder and have gotten to know Shawna especially well due to our fondness for Henley. I’ve watched Shawna over the last year or so intently follow the Lord in faith throughout an extremely trying and difficult situation, navigate in love when most people would have wanted to push back. And now, I humbly ask that we give back to her. 

As most of you know, Shawna has been dedicating her life these last few decades to spreading the word of positive reinforcement for the good of the horses and the special people who love them and want to do right by them. She has put out massive amounts of free content by way of blogs, articles, her Ask Shawna YouTube channel, her Equine Clicker 101 podcast, and in many other ways. She has always given her time relentlessly without asking for anything in return. She is never the type of person who would ask for help when needed but we all know how valuable she’s been to us all and I’m sure you can think of your own situation where she has selflessly given of her time and knowledge to help out. So I am asking for her community to give back to her this once in a big way so that she can get herself back to traveling around to serve you all once again. 

Anything you can do will be so heartily appreciated and if you are not currently in a position to give, would you mind liking, commenting, and most of all SHARING this post so that it is seen by as many as possible? I’d also really LOVE to hear your stories in the comments below of how Shawna has changed things for the better for you and/or your animals, lifted you up, or made you laugh since these are her special gifts. I think that could be a huge encouragement to her at this time. Thank you so very much for being willing to take care of someone who has been so instrumental in helping to set our horses on the right paths to success for such a long time.
