Giving Back to My Brother, Nursing Education
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Chammy. Thank you for viewing this campaign. Many of you know the expenses that goes into education, especially when it comes to the medical field- nursing to be exact. This year, for my older brother's birthday, October 17, I wanted to give him the gift of financial support in his education. Here's a little backstory about him and why I am raising these funds for him.
(BTW. This is will be surprise for him because if he knew, he would not let me raise money for him hehe.)

Growing up, I looked up to my brother. Our parents were always working hard, so he was always the one who looked after me. We are 5 years apart, me being 23 and him turning 29 this month. Being his sister has changed my life for the better. He is hard working, persevering through difficult and painful circumstances, and always finding the good in every person. He is faithful in every change and every stage of my life. He's also someone who never asks for things, since he is always content with what he has.

Many of you who know my brother know that he loves to help people and make others laugh. He loves children. He has been an after school teacher for the past 7 years and served at the church for almost 10 years. The past 2 years he has been pursuing a course to get his certificate to be a Licensed Vocational Nurse and eventually to become a Registered Nurse. Because our family was under the poverty line and has always struggled financially, education had to come later for him. His work ethic and intelligence has remained the same- if not, increased- from his high school and college days. These past 2 years, he has been working as an after school teacher, babysitter, manny, tutor, and -recently- a Postmates delivery man, while simultaneously going to night classes and studying through the night, sometimes barely getting sleep. As most of you know, nursing doesn't come cheap or easy. But, he still keeps going with tenacity and endurance.
He always tries to put other people first; working hard to help our family before pursuing his goals. So in return, I want to help him ease his load in a small way. And this is where I need your help!
This coming Fall, he needs $6,000 to pay for his last term tuition for his LVN course. He's almost done! Early next year, he will be continuing his education for RN.
The due date for his tuition is the end of October.
I would like to support him with the $6,000 by October 17, his birthday, but the campaign will continue to run until the end of October.
Currently, I set $6,000 as the campaign goal since that is the tuition cost. But other expenses he will have are books, nursing/medical equipment, labs, etc. For his RN course tuition, whatever is an excess from this campaign, if there are any, will be allocated to help him there.
All donations will go directly to my brother's nursing education fund.

If you are willing and able to donate, thank YOU so much.
If you are willing but are not able to support financially, thank YOU so much for your heart. I understand the hardship of finances.
Other ways that you can help this campaign is by sharing it- especially to those who have walked the path of nursing or financial difficulty.
It really takes a village and I am so grateful from the bottom of my heart that you are reading this. Thank you for the help you are doing for my brother. He doesn't need a physical gift. I believe this is the best gift we could give him this year. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
