Giving Back to Leeds Hospital Charity in Honour of our Dad’s Ongoing Cancer Journey.

Leeds Hospitals Charity is the charity of Leeds Teaching Hospitals, supporting NHS staff to deliver the best care for over a million patients and their families each year. They fund life-saving equipment, treatments, research into rare diseases, and home comforts that make a real difference.

The Leeds Cancer Centre provides specialist cancer care for patients from Leeds, Yorkshire, and beyond, treating around 17,000 people every year and offering advanced treatments, care, and support.

This cause is deeply personal to me and my family. Since November 2021, my dad has been battling multiple types of cancers, and most recently 2 brain tumours, for which he has undergone surgery.

His journey has shown us first-hand how important the care, support, and kindness from the NHS and charities like Leeds Hospitals Charity truly are.

Inspired by his ongoing fight, our dad, and our family, want to give something back so that other families can receive the same care, support, and comfort. Donating to Leeds Hospitals Charity will help make a difference to the lives of thousands of cancer patients and their families every year.
