Giving back to I.F.T.

  Within our automotive community in Fairfield County, we suffered a great loss of a dear friend, Corey Iodice of Iodice Family Transport.  Corey and his brother  Chris are the most recognizable faces when it comes to towing.  We've heard alot lately about essential workers and those on the front line, and among that group we have to include tow-truck operators. They are there in every crisis,  accident, disabled vehicle, blizzard and treacherous conditions to safely get those vehicles off the road.

   The loss is a tremendous one to Iodice Family Transport, in their small family run business. Particularly in this time, when people are unable to gather to pay their respects and honor their service.  in addition to the "Lights on for Corey" event, we are doing our part to give back and help sustain them financially, so that hopefully his brother Chris has some time to process this and heal from it with his wife and daughters. There have been numerous tributes, from the Fairfield Police Department, Fairfield Fire Department, those who tow and across our automotive industry, but more compelling are the individual stories from people who have been helped by Corey, or Chris when they were stranded, and the compassionate things they did above and beyond the call of duty to reunite people with their families and console them in their time of need. I urge everyone in the community to contribute,  any amount will help, and to share the post.  For over three decades this family has been a pillar in our community, selfless and giving and literally risking their own lives to ensure the safety of others.
