I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my coworker, Damien, who was recently diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer that has spread to his brain, along with additional tumors throughout his body. This diagnosis has created an overwhelming emotional and financial burden for Damien and his family.

Damien is known as a dedicated, hardworking individual who consistently goes out of his way to help others. In his free time, he is actively involved in the recovery community, offering encouragement, support, and guidance to individuals working toward healthier, more stable lives.

This fundraiser has been created to help alleviate some of the financial stress associated with his diagnosis. Funds raised will assist with transportation to and from medical appointments, ongoing medical expenses, and helping cover the costs for his children to travel and spend meaningful time with him during this difficult period.
