Giving back to Capt Pat’s family.

Donation protected

Hi! My name is Alisa Brogdon and my husband, Charles and I have been friends and clients of Capt. Patrick Price for almost 5 years now. As many of you are aware he lost his battle to Covid on Sept 6.. Just like many of you we are devastated by the news and will miss him every day

I would like to keep this page open for a little longer to continue to help his family by easing their financial burden and we can continue to honor him and his legacy of helping others just as he did for so many of us

Fairwinds...

... and following seas, dear Patrick. We lost our Captain yesterday at 1:23pm. We are devastated and heart broken.

He fought so hard. Damn, he fought like hell. And Mandy and our family championed for Patrick to get him the best care possible. We fought along side him,  just like this community did. The way you have rallied around Patrick,  Mandy and Zane is indescribable. THANK YOU! Thank you for loving our family through this journey.

Patrick was a giver. He sprung into action the second he saw a need. There was no waiting for someone else to get it started. He moved full steam ahead. And that is how you have supported us during Patrick's illness. We knew Patrick's circle was far reaching, but WOW! We are blessed beyond words.

It's been beautiful and heart wrenching to read the stories of the lives Patrick touched. His boat's name, DayMaker, was perfect. He lived to make it every day a special day out on the water catching fish. And he did it so well! Even when the fish weren't biting, he made sure you had a memorable day. Please keep posting your stories, here and on his Facebook and Instagram pages.

You walked along side us, prayed with us - and carried us  - these last 6 weeks. This is a testment to the power of prayer and the need for community. Let us continue to be here for each other and support one another. Patrick never met a stranger. Let's follow his lead and love others well, like you have loved us. Life is too precious and too short  not to.

So... fairwinds and following seas dear Patrick. We love you and will miss you everyday.

A heartfelt thank you. With love and gratitude,
Judie, Craig, Dana, Mandy and Zane

Original post :

As many of you have already heard Captain Pat was recently diagnosed with Covid-19 and while at first it seemed that symptoms were going to be mild, unfortunately his health has taken a turn and he is currently seeking treatment in the hospital for low oxygen and many other serious covid related symptoms and will likely miss many more days of work out on the Daymaker.

I’m sure you can imagine being self employed and missing many weeks of work, with the added expense of medical bills would be burdensome for anyone.

Anyone that knows Captain Pat knows that his kindness and generosity knows no bounds. He always steps up for his family, his community, and even strangers whenever a need arises and he has a heart for helping others. Therefore, we would love to show Captain Pat just a little bit of the kindness and generosity that he is usually giving to others and would never ask for himself.

Any and all donations will be used toward everyday living expenses, medical bills, and keeping his business secure until he is able to make a full recovery. Your generosity is truly appreciated and please continue to pray for Captain Pat’s complete and timely recovery so he can get back out on the water. Thanks!

Update. As many of you might have seen Capt Pat has being moved to ICU, we are going to raise funds for his continued medical expenses
