Our Mom, Maggie, was diagnosed with stomach cancer in December 2016. She is still fighting but financially, it's becoming more difficult. With high out of pocket deductibles, reduced wages while out on disability, and a lot of prescriptions to fill, it has become difficult for us to pay the mortgage and other daily living expenses.
It's difficult seeing our Mom 50 pounds lighter, wearing a scarf and in constant pain. But she is such a beautiful soul that she is still worried about how we are doing financially.
Every little donation can help us reach our $12,000 goal so that we can pay past and current medical bills, get caught up on our mortgage and pay other household expenses.
We have been diligently trying to do this ourselves, but the time has come to ask for help. Without quick assistance, we may lose the house and my Mom will have to move and continue to fight cancer.
