Meet my friend Alli. At 14 months old, Alli is a beautiful, curious, outgoing little daddy's girl. She has a twin sister, Robin, and a loving family. Her life's story is just beginning, but already she's fighting for it.
On March 29th Alli was rushed to hospital for a swollen neck and fever in Waco, TX. Just hours later she was being transported to a larger hospital in Fort Worth, TX that could handle her urgent needs - a scan revealed that Alli's tiny little body is full of cancer cells in her spine, bones and lympnodes.
She's currently awaiting the type/stage diagnosis, Plans are already being made to start Alli on chemo once they receive the complete diagnosis. It will be a long journey, with an unclear outcome.
Alli's family has already experienced a tragic loss this year, with her grandfather (Alli's dad's dad) passing away suddenly from a stroke. Her grandfather was a dear family friend, and the loss has been difficult. Alli's family has no health insurance, and with two hospital stays and an ambulance ride across the state of Texas, the medical bills are already piling up. The burden of this diagnosis is completely unimaginable.
There are so many choices today for charities and causes to support, but today we're asking for you help to support sweet little Alli.
Any gift you can give goes straight to her family to assist with the financial burden of her medical journey and the expenses to house them with her during her diagnosis and treatment.
