This holiday season, consider giving a "gift" to children with Autism by helping The Nexus School purchase a hug machine.

The Nexus School is a small, not-for-profit school located in Abington, PA.  We serve children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. We are hoping to purchase a hug machine because a number of our students could benefit from the use of this machine. Hug machines are helpful because they offer deep pressure over the entire body, and this pressure has a calming effect for many individuals with Autism.  It's nearly impossible to replicate the effects of a hug machine without actually using one.

Unfortunately, these machines aren't cheap, so we're enlisting your help to bring calming hugs to The Nexus School! The students and staff thank you for your contribution!

Please note: The "Give Nexus a hug" campaign is being managed by Melissa Smith, The Nexus School Class B teacher.  ALL donations will go directly to The Nexus School for the purchase of a hug machine.
