#GiveAGift, Thurrock’s award winning initiative, is back for a fifth year, promising to give gifts to hundreds of children and young people in need across Thurrock this Christmas.

For some children in Thurrock, Christmas can be an uncertain time. Their family may be unable to give them the magical Christmas we want for our own families. In the year of an unforeseen pandemic and unprecedented challenges, children need the sparkle of Christmas more than ever.

This year we have presents to collect for over 2,000 children. Your donation will be used to buy an age appropriate gift or gift card. We have set our GoFundMe target at £10,000, which is based on an average of £10 per donation for 1,000 children but we hope it will be exceeded – we have also been collecting pre-selected gifts via our Amazon Wish List. All the money and gifts donated will be going exclusively to the Give a Gift project and delivered to children and young people in need in Thurrock.
