Give Zion Smith the Gift of Mobility and Hope

Donation protected
My son's name is Zion Smith. On August 6, 2024, he had surgery for scoliosis. The doctor said it all went well. Two hours later, they took him back to surgery to remove the hardware they put in. After that surgery, he became paralyzed from the waist down. He spent one month in Oshei Hospital. They recommended a standing wheelchair, but his insurance denied it. When he went to rehab in Rochester, NY for a month, he did well, but he's still paralyzed. He has no body function control. He's 7 years old and all he wants to do is walk. That standing wheelchair would get him one step closer to walking.
Keeping him around his siblings is what's keeping him positive; he wants to go to school. He says to me daily, "I just want to walk, Mommy," or "Why can't I play with the kids?" "My baby walked into the hospital but rolled out of the hospital at the end."

I'm not asking for help for me; it's for him to get this $12,000 wheelchair to get him to walk again. That's all I want.He deserves that Thanking you beautiful people in advance. God bless.
