Zeus is a 10-year-old German Shepherd and was just diagnosed with a herniated disc, which is currently making him immobile. He needs to have surgery to fix the issue, which is costly. Right now, he has a sling and will be doing PT at home along with anti-inflammatories and sedation to help with inflammation. It’s a longer process for recovery to slightly solve the problem and get him moving again. Surgery would be the best option.
