Our hearts are broken. Zara, a loving and loyal member of our family, was recently hit by a car in a terrible accident. It happened so suddenly, and since then everything has been a whirlwind of emergency vet visit and heartbreaking decisions.

Zara isn’t just a pet-she is family. She is always there to greet us with a wagging tail, bring comfort on hard days, and fill our home with love and joy. Seeing her in pain has been incredibly difficult for all of us.

After being evaluated by the vet, we were told that the damage to her leg is too severe and it will need to be amputated in order to save her life. While this is devastating news, we are grateful there is still hope for recovery and a happy life ahead.

Unfortunately, the cost of emergency care and surgery is more than we can manage on our own. Between the surgery, medications, and recovery care, the expenses are overwhelming.
