My name is Jade, and I’m a proud parent of a child at William Ford Church of England Primary School in Barking and Dagenham. I am setting up this GoFundMe because our school — and most importantly, our children — need your help.
William Ford COE is a small, faith-owned school with passionate teachers and staff who do everything they can to give the children the best possible education. But because the school is owned by the church, it does not receive the same level of funding and support from the local authority as other schools in the area.
This means that despite their hard work and commitment, the school struggles to continue to provide even the basic essentials children need to thrive daily at school!
The school has a number of proposals in place to improve education and create more opportunities for its pupils. These include:
• Community & Family
• Digital Upgrade for Learning
• Teaching Cookery
•Careers Village ( playground )
• Career-focused learning: William Ford COE takes a unique approach by introducing children to career-related activities early on, helping them dream big and build the skills they need for the future.
This is why we need help to achieve all of the proposals to ensure the children gain the most from their education.
