Give Wendy Pawlak's Family Peace and Security

Hi, my name is Barbara. I'm setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend and neighbor, Wendy Pawlak, as well as her loving husband, Chris, and beloved daughters Claire and Ella. As many of you know, Wendy was diagnosed with a virulent and aggressive form of breast cancer in November 2023. Wendy, along with her family, have been tirelessly battling the many ups and downs of this diagnosis, not to mention the unbearable uncertainty of what the future may bring. They've done this with grace and fortitude despite the significant stress and suffering caused by the myriad physical, medical, emotional, financial, and logistical challenges.

With immense sadness, two days ago we found out the cancer has spread to Wendy's lungs. She doesn't have much more time to live; her oncologists estimate a few weeks to a couple months. Despite this news, always thinking of her daughters and how to best support them going forward, she reached out to me asking if I would organize the community to help pay for her funeral costs and lost income, as well as allow Chris to take time off, so that they may spend the last part of her journey together as peacefully as possible.

I'm asking you to please give as generously as you're able so we can accomplish this goal. Our selfless, beautiful, and kind friend deserves as peaceful of a transition as possible, knowing that her family has the security of a few months' living expenses so that they may focus on each other and their lives going forward.
