Give Wanda the Send-Off She Deserves

My name is Savannah Chavez. I’m coming to you from a place of pure distress and heartbreak. My family has been dealing with my grandmother‘s abusive ex-husband for a couple of years now. Today, he took her life and proceeded to take his own. Wanda was a light to all that she knew, truly the most amazing human I’ve ever met, and if you got the pleasure of meeting her, you would agree.

I lost my mom this past year and have suffered severe financial consequences since. I would really love to give my grandmother a proper send-off; we all know that she deserves it. My life has always been quite complicated, and I’ve climbed a lot of mountains, but Wanda was and still is my rock. The thought of living without her is absolutely sickening, but together we can and we will.
