Give Wally a Second Chance at Happiness

Hi guys!

I’m Tiffany, Wallace’s (Wally) foster mom!

I pulled him from Deklab County Animal Services just 30 minutes before he was to be euthanized on Saturday, Jan 25th.

Wally had been a resident of DCAS since early Aug 2024 when he came in as a "stray" and had severe muscle-deep burns on his back. After being treated, Wally quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite with his sweet and playful demeanor. He was in a large double run with another pup for a roommate and they got along great! Wally was lucky enough to go to foster prior to me but it was with a college student who was accepted to a study abroad program and he had to go back to the shelter. Upon going back he was reverted back to a smaller kennel upon intake and slowly started to decline and now he needs some training to learn manners again.

Wally has been failed by humans more than any dog should have to endure. But now Wally has the chance to learn the correct manners and boundaries to go back to being the playful, sweet , and loving Wallace he once was so we can place him with the perfect forever home!

With your help, and a lot of other who offered, Wally and I would love if you contributed to his training sessions. His training team is gracious enough to carve out some time for Wally by driving over an hour each way to help me get Wally back to the pup we know he can be over the next 9 weeks.

These funds are strictly for his training for a 9 week program at 2 hours per day, in home, but if you feel the need to contribute more for his food and treats and enrichment toys, please do what you feel is in your heart. Every little bit helps!
