Hello, thank you for even taking the time to read this! My name is Amber, I have a 4 year old daughter named Vivian. She is my best friend and she is the light of my life. Unfortunately, Vivian suffered HIE at birth which caused severe brain damage. Due to this brain injury, she has many diagnoses, including Mixed Quad Cerebral Palsy. I’ve spent the last 4 years doing everything I can to help her, even changed to a remote work position to provide care for her at home. While she’s had some success in many areas, she still struggles physically and may rely on me to care for her the rest of her life.
Recently, I’ve discovered there are multiple experimental treatments in Monterey Mexico that was approved by the Mexican FDA and has been proven to help kids like Viv. Although there is no cure for brain damage, these treatments could significantly improve Vivian's quality of life and abilities.
The first treatment is called “Cytotron” and it is still considered a research protocol and is not covered by insurance. There is NO GUARANTEE this treatment will help, BUT even a chance of improvement is better than nothing and absolutely worth it for miss Viv.
The second treatment is MUSE stem cells. While also considered experimental, these special stem cells can differentiate into cell types from all three germ layers: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm.
When injected into the bloodstream, Muse cells migrate directly to damaged tissues, guided by biological signals like sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P). This targeted approach enhances their effectiveness in tissue repair.
However, it is $35,000 just for the Cytotron treatment, and $10,000 for Muse cells. It does not include travel, lodging, time off of work, and other expenses acquired over the almost 6 weeks stay. Which is why I’m asking for help to please donate to this GFM. If you can’t donate, please share it.
Vivian didn't ask for brain damage or to be disabled, she deserves a chance at these possibly life changing treatments!
