This is my baby, Veruca. A few weeks ago, I noticed her limping pretty badly and took her to the vet to get her checked out. We received the news that she has a torn CCL ligament (ACL equivalent in humans) in her hind left leg and that the surgery she needs is going to cost $4500.00. Y'all, I cannot even begin to afford this! In the last week, I have applied for and been denied by several veterinary medical credit organizations, and this feels very much like my last resort to give my baby the chance at the quality of life she deserves.
