Help Hala's mather on a medical trip and evacuating family

Donation protected
The Hassanen family has two children, Abood and Lulu. The family includes
Abood's mother and father, four sisters and two brothers .

The family was displaced and scattered within Gaza (they lived together before October 7) .

I'm Nour, I graduated from medical school an Egyptian university. My family was supposed to join me at my graduation ceremony this year, but the war prevented it. My brother Mohannad and my sister Nada, Abood's siblings who are studying medicine in Egypt, started this fundraising campaign to help evacuate Abood and all our family members .

This is the goal we discussed
1/Our mother Nisreen has a tumor in her parotid gland and has complications such as an enlarged cheek, difficulty moving her jaw and difficulty blinking. She underwent surgery two years ago and has been following up with a doctor here in Egypt every six months. She was supposed to follow up in January of this year, but she was unable to follow up due to the closure of the crossing.
She was supposed to follow up in January this year, but she couldn't follow up because of the closure of the crossing, She needs surgery as soon as possible and follow-up .

My mother, Nisreen, is a Palestinian-Gazan woman, a teacher of history, geography, and human rights.
She lost her school, her students, her lifelong friend Mrs. Kifah , Dr. Yusra and our dear neighbor Abeer .

My mother is talented in Palestinian embroidery, cooking and cakes, such as cheesecake .

My mother and I are Palestinian embroiderers, my mother used to design dresses, abayas and many embroidered scarves with great love and a lot of time and effort, but we lost her in our house, which was bombed .

Now she is tired and psychologically devastated by the tumor, illness, fear, and returning to a primitive life
(washing clothes by hand, living in a tent, cooking on firewood, and washing utensils with contaminated water) .

2/Evacuate Abood (13 years old)
He was deprived of his education for eight months, deprived of seeing
and play with his friends, some of whom were killed at the beginning of the war on Gaza at the beginning of the war and some of whom traveled outside of Gaza .

Abood's favorite hobby is swimming .

Abood loves his school and is
a diligent student .

Now in the war .

3/ Evacuate Lulu (15 years old)
Hala is ahigh achieving student who is talented in art, drawings, handicrafts, and embroidery .

She is creative in English and has several courses and would like to travel to America to study medicine .

Hala and my whole family were having the best time during the summer vacation and returned to Gaza just one week before the war .
Hala was excited to go to high school
and fulfill her dream. Little did she know that she would not complete her education and fulfill her dream and would spend her time homeless, panicking, washing dishes by hand and making bread .

Lulu.

4/ Evacuate Farah (19 years old)
Before the war, Farah was in pharmacy school, happy with her friends, enthusiastic and ambitious to become a dean at the university, but the university was destroyed, she lost her best friend Reem Badawi, was deprived of her education and lost two years of her life because she would be forced to start over again in her education outside of Gaza .

Destruction of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Azhar University .

5/ Evacuate our father Mohammed's .
All donations here will go to Noor, Mohannad and Nada Hassanen who are currently in Egypt .

The entire family will need
$25,000 - $55,000 to evacuate. We
will increase our goal to evacuate more members of the Hassanen family .

Our story will tell you more about our family and their life in Palestine as it is today:
"To everyone who knows about humanity, I, Noor and Muhannad Hassanen, write this letter to you in a time of great need .
Our family consists of 8 members. Our family is currently in Gaza
Our family is facing unimaginably harsh conditions that no human being can live through. Our family cannot
receive your continued support for safety.

We are far from our families here because we studied medicine in
Egyptian universities before the war.
We feel very helpless as our families are suffering. The situation is getting worse every day .

On November 25, 2023, our house in
Tel al-Hawa, located behind Al-Quds Hospital, was bombed and completely demolished .

Before

This is a picture at the beginning of the war, a picture of the cruelest event in which we lost our neighbors' children , then the area was invaded and my family was forced to flee from north to south without taking any items from the house, and then the building and the whole neighborhood was bombed .

After

After the invasion of Khan Younis, my father's farmland was completely destroyed, and the olive trees he was selling were uprooted .

My grandfathers' house was completely bombed in Gaza's Jalaa area, which meant my family had no
home at all .

The occupation forces directed them to move south. They were displaced more than once from Mawasi Khan Younis and were trapped there at Al-Aqsa University in Khan Younis for almost a week .

and then Mawasi Rafah.

They spend all their time collecting
firewood for cooking .

Before

They used to cook maqluba and many other dishes, now only one dish, if any at all, as prices rise .

The false maqluba, so named because it is meatless and made in war .

They sleep in a tent for 7 months without electricity, surrounded by stray dogs, mafia among the people, and thefts .
(My family had all their phones stolen except for one remaining phone) .

Before the war, everyone had a room to sleep in, now the whole family sleeps in a small space on the floor, my mother has difficulties sleeping on the floor because she already suffers from osteoarthritis , and my father suffers from back pain, because he carrying buckets of water from the water filling place and walking long distances on his back to reach my family's tent .

My younger brother helps my father .

They suffer from fear, hunger, cold and
the spread of diseases such as hepatitis Due to contaminated
water and garbage piled up everywhere between the tents .

We can't communicate with them because there is no good communication network. They walk long distances to get a network and there is no electricity to charge the only phone left after all their phones were stolen.
(Charging the phone three times a day is a luxury) .

We are very worried about losing
them. We want to get our family out
of Gaza and start a new life .
