Give us our best chance to save our FAMILY HOME

Hi, I'm Rae, mom behind the camera. Thank you in advance for taking time out of your day to connect, share the link, or donate.

I'm sure we're all trying to figure out our "new normal since covid ." Making this account is very hard for my family and me. Many that read this or know me most likely don't know that despite these tough times, our family has been suffering more then friends or family know. We're staying positive and strong for our boys above all, but waking up with the looming knowing that time could be up before we're ready and able to find a better situation is overwhelming.

We're on borrowed time in the process of fighting eviction to keep our trailer that we own(we have to pay lot rent, and it can't be moved). We got behind when the engine blew up in my car, my wallet was stolen in December from the car I had with a loan. February lost my job and my new vehicle within 24hrs of each other...Sounds like a nightmare right? This didn't just affect me, it snowballed through my entire universe and our children(5 and 8).

We had to transfer our preschooler to 3 schools in the middle of the year, which lead to discovering myself and my son (he's in process of diagnosis) being autistic with ADHD in April of 2022 for myself. Alot of things with that knowledge now know, has given me answers to why alot of things in my life have gone wrong in the past. During this time, walking is our main transportation or generosity from a select few or its uber. Since all of this that has happened, my body has been showing signs of deteriorating symptoms at the age of 37 that may be leading to specific health conditions. My massage career of 12 years now rapidly fading and a part of my heart is crushed with the weight of knowing that, in time, that will not be possible as my full-time profession anymore.

Compounding all of this in a matter of a few months has been a challenge, to say the least. Our family's routine had been completely changed. Our older son can only visit on the weekends because I no longer have a car to get him from school. Mental health for myself now has to include weekly therapy to help me maintain my executive functioning, and not knowing when my son or myself will have a meltdown varies day to day from being overwhelmed/overstimulated in stressful situations, and my partner has been doing the best he can with the cards we've been dealt.

Our park has had 3 changes in management since last year, and with 0 communication except for email and 0 callbacks after many attempts to correct the situation, including not responding to a company that was able to assist in making the balance current at the time. The company decided to resort to starting the eviction instead of working out a payment plan with us. Their claim is they have only seen money from when we had government aid, so we can't be reliable for our payments. Before covid, rent and utilities were always paid, and government assistance was minimal. Between myself trying to secure work, past interviews that aren't massage related, and my partner constantly working doubles at a restaurant, The grand total is $4700 with legal fees and the rent is about to be $3,000.

The help we are getting is taking a little more time than was expected to get here, and our income is barely being held together. With support and compassionate hearts, we can achieve this goal or be blessed with more to rest our family's fears. The funds will be going to stop the eviction and get us caught up and back on track towards what's next since covid. Thank you, stay blessed, you are a blessing.

With Gratitude,
Rae, Jeff , and our amazing boys
