Give Tyler a Fighting Chance with Stem Cell Treatment

Please help me give my son a healthier life with stem cell therapy.
The moment the doctor brought Tyler into this world, the doctor said, "he has hypospadias." Little did we know that it was just the start of his long and trying 6 year journey.
Ty was diagnosed with a rare chromosome deletion which resulted in Hand, Foot, and Genital Syndrome which in turn has given my son reoccurring UTI’s, hypospadias, hydronephrosis and kidney disease.
He was later diagnosed with Autism and Global Developmental Delay. At 8 months, Tyler experienced his first UTI, which took 2 ER visits and antibiotics at such a young age. He had his first surgery at 2 years old(delayed by Covid shut down) and since then has had several additional surgeries and prescribed a multitude of antibiotics all to combat and prevent UTI’s.
Tyler has been antibiotic-resistant since 2022, and each UTI he gets now turns into a 10-day hospital stay, a team of doctors including infectious diseases and the urology team. On two separate occasions we were quarantined to the room.
Tyler's last hospital stay began on Christmas Day, where we watched New Year's fireworks from the hospital window. We were quarantined since his bacteria was resistant to multiple antibiotics. Imagine being stuck inside a hospital room with a toddler who has autism and crazy energy. It was rough. However, it was at this time my Tyler said his first word, "Mommy." He said it so many times, and to hear my son's voice after 4 years of silence was the most beautiful thing. He spoke that day because he wasn’t focused on pain and he was very aware for the first time in a long time. He has since regressed and is now back to being nonverbal. The pain he goes through on a regular basis is hard for a mom to watch and not have the ability to fix it quickly. It was also during this visit where we were told he now has kidney disease and his hydronephrosis hasn't improved.
As a baby, he had plagiocephaly and torticolis where he had a helmet for almost a year and couldn’t use one side of his upper body or turn his neck.
My son is a warrior; he now takes catheters and IVs like a champion. He has an excitable demeanor when he sees we are pulling up to the hospital because he knows he will finally feel better. But that is not the life I want for my son. I just want to provide my baby with a moment of relief. We miss out on important life events and time with family because of his set backs.
Despite the multitude of hardships, Ty is a sweet, adorable, blue-eyed boy that loves Mickey Mouse and loves to give kisses and high fives. He enjoys walking outside and playing in water.
My research on stem cell treatments give me hope that it will improve his life tremendously in more ways than one. As a mother, having a child in the spectrum isn’t easy as it is, but being on the spectrum and non verbal makes me feel more helpless since he can’t communicate his pain.
Before coming here, I have applied for government assistance, respite care and was denied. We have accumulated thousands of dollars in medical expenses and child care expenses. Nothing matters more than peace and happiness for my baby boy. For 5 years, it’s been a very heartbreaking start to life for him. My son will never experience life as a healthy person would. He would never go to prom or have his heart broken for the first time . He won’t get married or have children, drive a car or fall in love. But the least i could do is get him healthy and at this point stem cell therapy may be our only hope .
This funding I receive will allow my baby to get his first cycle of Stem Cells to help improve his current state and prevent any future surgeries or UTIs or kidney transplants. Each dose is $4,100.
Tyler will require a minimum of 3 vials for his treatment, which will take place over the course of 1 year. We will also have to travel to Jacksonville for this treatment, however we are asking to fund the treatment only. Travel expenses will get figured out.
Every dollar brings us one step closer to giving Ty the chance to live a life with less pain and more possibilities.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support that you may be able to offer.
