Meet Tundra
On May 15th, 2024, Me and my husband rescued Tundra — a sweet, Older Female Doberman estimated to be 5–7 years old. She was found in the Nevada desert, and despite everything she’s been through, she is one of the most loving, gentle, and affectionate dogs you could ever meet. She truly deserves a second chance and still has so much life in her.
A little about me: I’m a former veterinary assistant with a lifelong love for animals. My pets are my world, and I’ve always done everything I can to give them the care they need. While I’ve stepped away from working in veterinary medicine right now, my passion and commitment to caring for animals hasn’t changed — I just can’t provide Tundra with the same level of medical support by myself anymore.
Tundra’s Medical Journey
Since being in my care, Tundra has faced one challenge after another:
* She has been evaluated by a Cardiologist specialist
* She underwent surgery to remove mammary tumors (breast cancer) and was spayed at that point
* She is currently battling a persistent staph infection in her lungs, first diagnosed in early January of this year. A culture also revealed
E.Coli alongside Staphylococcus infection.

The list goes on and on with her medical issues. Despite multiple rounds of antibiotics, the infection has not cleared. She still has Staphylococcus in her lungs. She now needs a Rhinoscopy to investigate further and determine the next steps for treatment.

Why We Need Help
My husband and I have stretched ourselves as far as we can, but we simply cannot afford the level of care Tundra needs. The ongoing medical costs are overwhelming, and without help, our only other option would be euthanasia — something we absolutely do not want for her. She is not ready to give up, and neither are we.
Tundra is resilient, full of love, and still has so much to give. With your support, she can get the medical attention she needs instead of facing the unthinkable.

How You Can Help
Every donation will go directly toward Tundra’s medical care, including the rhinoscopy and any treatments that follow. Even if you can’t donate, sharing her story means the world.
Tundra has been through so much, yet she continues to love and trust humans despite her past. Please help us give her the second chance she deserves.
