Help Troy Walk Again
If you look at these photos, you’ll see Troy as he’s always been—gentle, strong, and full of life. Troy is an 8-year-old Alaskan Malamute and the heart of my brother Joshua’s world. You see, Josh lives with Autism, and so Troy not just a dog; he is Joshua’s emotional support animal, best friend, and constant source of comfort.
Recently, everything changed. Troy suddenly lost his ability to walk. What was once a powerful, playful companion is now struggling with basic mobility, and watching this happen has been devastating for our entire family—especially Joshua.
Veterinarians have told us that X-rays cannot show what’s wrong. The only way to truly understand what is happening and determine whether Troy can recover is through an MRI. That MRI will give us answers—whether this is a spinal issue, nerve damage, or something else entirely—and allow us to move forward with the right treatment.
Why We’re Asking for Help
We are raising $3,000 to cover:
A diagnostic MRI
Specialist evaluation and next-step treatment planning
The chance to give Troy relief, comfort, and the best quality of life possible
Without this imaging, we’re left guessing—and time matters.
Joshua would do anything for Troy, and now we’re asking for help so he doesn’t have to face this alone.
