We are the 3rd Grade Team at Treeview Elementary School in Hayward, CA. Treeview Elementary is a Title I school where 81.2% of students receive free or reduced-price lunch. We are requesting funds for a field trip for our 72 students. We hope to take our 3rd graders to the Legoland Discovery Center in Milpitas, CA. Students will engage in a STEM workshop where they will explore the motion of a basketball when scoring a three-point throw and will observe and measure the basketball’s motion to recognize a pattern, record data, and make predictions.
