Give Tommy a Fighting Chance to Walk Again

On October 20th of ‘22 Tommy and I were in a car accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down due to two spinal cord injuries- one at the C7 level & another at the T10 level. Doctors said he was a “complete” injury and would never walk again but he has proven to be a fighter for every bit of progress.

Unfortunately we lost everything after the accident- I lost my job of 3 yrs, our home of 4 yrs and I haven’t been able to go back to work due to being his full time caregiver. Insurance/ Medicaid will only cover so much (not nearly enough) physical therapy so I feel my son is not getting the fighting chance he deserves and there’s not a lot in my control right now.

Tommy is 5, he wants to walk again, he wants to be a “normal” kid, he’s not ready to “give up” and neither am I.

We’ve applied for grants with no luck (if anyone has any suggestions pls private message me). We’ve been fortunate enough to do an amazing clinical trial in KY but as of now we are stuck with our only option being self-pay so we are asking for help to continue getting him the physical therapy he needs and desperately wants. And the physical therapy this mama needs to sleep at night knowing I’ve done everything in my power to give my son the best chance at walking again.
