Give Tommy a Chance to Play Again

Hello! My name is Irlanda and I’m reaching out to the community for help in allowing Tommy a chance to get better. Tommy is a playful tabby male cat who loves to play, cuddle, and make biscuits. We have had him in our lives since he was a few weeks old he has made our days fun and never a dull moment. Tommy loves to be outdoors and play with plants, nature, and just enjoy being out in the sun. A week ago, as his normal routine he was let out to enjoy the sun and wandered around the complex to catch up with his neighborhood pals. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it home, after several days of looking we were starting to think the worst. A week later we found him around the neighborhood but he was badly injured. We noticed he was dragging his hind right leg and couldn’t support his weight for long period of time. Upon taking him to pet care, we discovered he has a broken hip and must have taken physical trauma such as a car accident or nasty fall. Our two options given to us were to plate his hip a very intense surgery around $6,000.00 and up or an FHO surgery where his connecting leg bone is shaved so that it is free from the hip, this surgery was quoted around $4,000.00. We are in a tough situation right now since we have a lot of financial hardships and are hoping you can help Tommy and his recovery to living a pain free life once again. Tommy is a huge part of our lives and has been for the past four years, he has helped us get through bad times, has made holidays fun and warm, and ultimately makes all our days just a little extra special.
