Give to Save Abandoned and Abused Dogs & Cats

Hi everyone! My name is Stella Fanega and I am currently based in Chicago, IL. As a proud immigrant from the Philippines, I am broken to see cruelty against our loving and caring animals. Even though I reside in the US now, I still want to make an impact. With that said, I am raising funds to help a growing shelter called, Ilonggo Aspins in the Philippines.

Ilonggo Aspins is a growing shelter that rescues abandoned, abused dogs and cats in the surrounding areas of Iloilo City, Philippines. All proceeds will go towards food, vet visits/surgeries (if needed), cages and beds, medications, and other necessities we need to function as a shelter.

According to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), "there are around 12 million stray cats and dogs in the Philippines as of 2019, which are either former family pets or those who have reproduced in the streets due to lack of proper shelter." Moreover, the inhumane treatment of stray dogs is a common problem that is often associated with improper feeding, lack of correct hygiene, and unmerciful killing that brings fear to its subject.

Regardless of low donations at times, we, as a shelter have used our finances to supply for what is needed for our rescues to have the best life possible. Please note that every cent, dollar donated matters. If you're unable to donate, we ask that you share this with your family and friends.
