Donate to our Ciclismo Classico Tour Guides Fund!
Italy's Tourism has been devastated and due to government restrictions, Ciclismo Classico has been prevented from running our spring cycling tours in Italy and Europe.
As independent contractors, tour guides only get paid and receive tips if they lead a trip. Our spring season was slated to be full of happy guests biking all over Europe. Since they have been in lockdown since March 1st and not working, they have no income to bring home to their families. While we are hoping, planning and praying for an end to this crisis and to get back biking on the road soon, there is no certainty as to when and how much work will be available.

We are asking for donations to help provide our Ciclismo Classico guides, your dear cycling friends from afar, with some financial support. You can donate any amount you wish. Everyone who donates will receive a PDF Ciclismo Classico cookbook with favorite recipes and foodie stories from our guides. Food is one of the most meaningful ways to connect with others. While a lot of us will be relying on cooking to get us through this trying time, our guides are sharing family recipes to help bring a little piece of Italy into your home. It’s their way of opening their hearts to our guests.
How are our guides passing the time at home? Our guides are gardening, cooking, spending time with their children, shopping for their elderly parents and bicycling inside on their trainers as they are not allowed to even ride their bicycles or take long walks outside. They are upbeat, positive and creative - which includes putting together our very first Ciclismo Classico Guide cookbook.
These guides have made it their life's work and passion to bring guests transformational cycling experiences. They have gone above and beyond to share their passion for bicycling, travel and their homelands with our guests.
Please consider making a donation today to help support them. 100% of the donated funds will be divided between all of our guides.
