On the morning of Thursday, May 8th, our dearest baby Ophelia began pooping and vomiting massive amounts of blood. After many tests and fluids and drugs and alternatives, she was diagnosed with severe AHDS (Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome), which is treatable and acute. Now that she has turned a little bit of a corner (we hope it's a permanent corner), she simply needs time, drugs, and resources to recover and be able to return home.

Because of the severity of Ophelia's AHDS, she has been hospitalized at CSU Vet Hospital since Thursday, 5/8, which is devastatingly expensive. We are $9,200 deep so far, and if all goes as well as it can, it's estimated that this emergency will run around $12,000. We are privileged enough to use credit for these unexpected expenses to keep our beloved Oph alive, but, as you might guess (the reason you're reading this), this is a significant financial burden for us. We understand that times are ROUGH and money is tight, and we would appreciate anything you can give.
