My name is Ricky Blaha, and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Eunice, who has been serving people and places in the world for over 11 years now. For the past two years, she has been living in Pisa, Italy, where she has poured her life into serving others—opening her home to guests, providing meals, and offering a safe place for people in transition.

Recently, while Eunice was traveling in the United States, her apartment in Pisa caught fire. The fire destroyed much of her kitchen and belongings, caused smoke damage throughout the home, and left the apartment in need of major repairs. The estimated repair costs are close to $20,000, not including many of her personal items that were lost.

Eunice is committed to working with her landlord and the city to ensure repairs are done properly and on time. But as you can imagine, the costs are overwhelming. She doesn’t have the means to cover everything herself, and she wants to maintain a strong testimony of integrity and cooperation in her community.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help Eunice cover these expenses—both for repairing the apartment and for replacing essential household items so she can continue offering hospitality to others.

Eunice has given so much of herself in service to others. This is an opportunity for us, her friends, family, and community, to give back to her in a time of real need.
