Give Tinkerbell a Chance to Thrive

Tinkerbell was found on a private road in Jackson, GA, at just three weeks old, covered in fleas and ticks, all wet and cold. On our ride back to Columbus, she barely moved under the blanket on my lap. She was so lethargic and malnourished I wasn't sure if she would make it; the only way I knew she was still with me was the constant purrs.

Once home, I gave her a good scrub, some food, and a warm, dry place to sleep, praying until the morning. The sweet girl powered through and made it! That morning, we brought her to the vet where they diagnosed her with worms and an anal prolapse, which we were able to treat at home. She was born without a tail, but we figured her anal prolapse would go away once she was treated for worms. We weren't so lucky.

Unfortunately, Tink has been treated four different times with multiple medications for parasites/worms, but her prolapse and diarrhea have not resolved. We are at the point of needing surgery to pin her intestines to her stomach wall so she may live a normal life with better continence of her bowel movements. Please consider donating to this sweet girl's surgery and vet bills if you are able. I know she is truly grateful for being rescued every day while she purrs simply because I'm in her presence.
