I saved this sweet, kind, loving, handsome boy from getting run over one late afternoon a few weeks ago in Marksville, LA. I went into the nearby neighborhood and asked if anyone owned him, and everyone said no. They had been seeing him for the past week hanging around.

I recently brought him to the vet. He was not microchipped, and he is positive for heartworms. I gave him all up-to-date vaccinations and began his heartworm treatment. He is starting his first injection of heartworm treatment on July 14, 2025. I did not realize how expensive this can be. I was very blessed with all my animals for them not to be heartworm positive. The vet said he was three years old. I’m hoping he is young enough to overcome this with everyone’s help.

I’m trying to save him and give him a second chance at life and to have a good home in the future. I would appreciate any donations to help with his heartworm treatment and prayers as well.
