This beautiful bird is being kept in disgusting conditions in a Petco in Eatontown New Jersey. It broke my heart seeing it today, as two feet away there was a huge cage with a lot of toys and healthy birds being kept in it. I turned the corner and there was four cages all with birds that looked depleted and sad. They were kept in cages an inch off the floor so barely anyone can even see them with water that didn’t look clean, one sad toy, and this one had poop all over the back of its cage. They all four were in the corners of there cages like this and it broke my heart. The one bird next to this one was on the other side of the glass and it looked as if they wanted to be in the cage together. The two other birds were $800 but this one specifically was $1200 BEFORE the cage food etc. I went to tiktok with this and many people are willing to rescue him but the common trend is how expensive it is. I said I would make a gofundme and raise as much as I could for whoever is willing to rescue any of them I sent the goal to $2000 for the bird and any cage they may need or upkeep for starting off the enclosure for them.
