Hi there! This little kitten was thrown from a car yesterday on Route 66 between el Reno and Yukon. I immediately got him from the middle of the road and rushed him to city paws urgent care where they determined his rear femur is broken and the leg needs to be amputated. He is on pain meds and antibiotics for an eye infection in the meantime.

After talking to many veterinarians and rescues, I have found a vet that is willing to do the surgery on Monday but it will be about $1800. Every rescue and animal shelter I have spoken to has told me they cannot help but he’s doing too well to euthanize so we can’t let that be the only option.
