Help This Sweet Rescue Pup Get the Medical Care She Needs
On Sunday night, this gentle girl was dumped and left to fend for herself. She ran into the forest, scared and alone. We found her Monday morning, covered in ticks, unsure of people, and clearly in need of help.
In just a few days, she’s already come out of her shell and is showing us what a sweet, loving soul she truly is. She’s gentle, loves attention, adores treats, and seems to be crate trained. But she also has some medical concerns, including a growth on her leg and possible bladder issues. She’s not spayed, and after what she’s been through, a full vet check-up is a must.
We’re bringing her to the vet on Monday and will be splitting the initial bill with the kind person, Dan Roy, who has stepped up and offered to adopt her! Until Dan can come pick her up, we’re fostering her and making sure she’s safe, comfortable, and cared for.
We’re starting this fundraiser to help cover not just the first vet visit, but any necessary follow-ups, especially for the growth on her leg. Any money raised beyond the initial costs will go directly to Dan to support her continued care in her new forever home.
If you’re able to donate or share, we would be so grateful. Every little bit helps give this sweet girl the second chance she deserves.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
UPDATE:
Pup Update – Vet Visit & What’s Next
We wanted to share an update on the sweet girl we rescued from the forest — thank you so much to everyone who has supported her journey so far!
She had her first vet visit, and the initial bill came to $890. A huge thank you to Dan Roy and his family, who are adopting her — they’ve kindly offered to split this cost with us.
The vet discovered that she’ll need quite a bit of follow-up care:
- Surgery to remove a large bladder stone
- Spay surgery
- Vaccines
- Lumpectomy
- And a much-needed dental cleaning
As you can imagine, these additional procedures will come with more expenses. Any donations we receive from this point forward will go directly toward covering the cost of her surgeries and helping Dan and his family support her recovery as she transitions into her forever home.
We’re incredibly grateful for any support — whether it’s a donation or a share. This girl went from being dumped in the forest to having a real shot at a happy, healthy life. Thank you for helping us make that happen.
