For the past six years, we have opened our home to abandoned, orphaned, injured, and unwanted cats in our small community. With a population of fewer than 2,000 people and no local shelters that accept cats, many of these animals would have nowhere to go without the help of private rescuers.
Over the years, we have bottle-fed newborn kittens, cared for nursing mothers, provided food, litter, kitten formula, medications, deworming treatments, and veterinary care, and worked tirelessly to find loving homes for as many cats as possible.
Today, we are caring for more than 26 cats plus kittens. In recent years, the number of cats needing help in our area has increased significantly. We have reached a point where cats are reproducing faster than we can afford to have them spayed and neutered. While we continue to provide food, shelter, medical care, and daily attention, the growing costs have become overwhelming for our family to manage alone.
Currently, we spend over $550 each month on food, litter, kitten formula, medications, and basic care. Our greatest need right now is funding for spay and neuter surgeries so we can responsibly rehome these cats and prevent future litters from being born into an already difficult situation.
Our goal is to raise $800 - $2,600 to help cover spay and neuter surgeries for more than 20 rescue cats currently in our care. The average cost is approximately $130 per cat.
❣️Every donation helps:
$25 helps cover a portion of a surgery
$65 helps cover half of a spay or neuter
$130 sponsors one cat's surgery
Any amount helps us move closer to our goal of preventing future litters and finding these cats safe, loving homes.
We believe in complete transparency and accountability. We are committed to providing regular updates, photos, and documentation as cats are spayed and neutered through this fundraiser so supporters can see exactly how their donations are making a difference.
❤️We are not a large rescue organization. We are simply a family that loves animals and has spent the last six years doing everything we can to help cats that otherwise would have nowhere to turn.
If you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser and keeping our rescue efforts in your prayers means more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for helping us give these cats a healthier future and a chance at loving homes.
With Gratitude,
