My name is Helen, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart for my beloved cat, Theo. He’s been my constant companion for over 6years—always ready with soft purrs, silly zoomies, and the warmest cuddles. My son and I went to the shelter looking to find an elderly cat to rescue but this 6month old ginger boy chose us.

Theo is truly family, and right now he’s facing a scary diagnosis: salivary gland cancer.

A few weeks ago, I noticed swelling under his jaw and rushed him to the vet. Tests confirmed the heartbreaking news. The hopeful part? The tumor might be removable with surgery—but first, we desperately need a CT scan to check if it has spread and if it’s operable. Without this scan, we can’t plan the next steps to give him the best chance at recovery.

The CT scan is estimated to cost around $2,000 (including vet fees and any immediate follow-up care). As a single pet parent, I’ve already maxed out what I can afford with initial exams and tests. I can’t cover this alone, so I’m turning to the kindness of friends, family, and fellow cat lovers through this GoFundMe.
