Dearest Friends, Family, and Community,

We're reaching out to you today for a truly special man, our father, Douglas Pieper. A renowned Piano and Voice instructor who has touched so many lives. This coming May 25th will mark 58 wonderful years of Marital Bliss to his beloved wife, Carol. Recently, Carol underwent knee replacement surgery, and Doug is her sole caretaker.

However, a significant challenge has emerged: Doug is struggling with profound hearing loss, and his current hearing aids are failing him. This makes it incredibly difficult for him to communicate effectively with Carol, especially during this crucial time when she relies on him completely.

For decades, Douglas has poured his heart into nurturing the talents of countless students. His gentle guidance and unwavering encouragement haven't just taught music; they've built confidence and fostered a lifelong love for the arts in so many. Douglas is also an ordained minister and is still actively involved in charitable organizations in our community, as he has been, through the years.

Today, the teacher who helped so many to find their voice is struggling to hear. We are aiming to raise $2,000 towards the $3,000 still needed for the purchase of high-quality hearing aids. These essential devices will dramatically improve his ability to communicate with Carol, manage her care and simply enjoy their time together.
